Seats that fit Audi 100 C4
I would like a fresher (preferably Leather) set of seats for my 1991 100 C4. does anyone know for sure if Audi 100 c3 or Audi A6 c4 seats will fit without modification? I can never find Audi 100 c4 seats on ebay or at breakers, so hoping some others may fit.

Well it shouldn't be hard to find UrS4 leather seats. Seen at least one set on here going very cheap and a couple more sets on the s2forum. But yes A6 C4 and type 44 seats do fit, at least the front ones do.

I guessed the fronts would probably fit, but I want to know for certain if the rears will also. I know some A6 c4 parts are slightly different, like front wings. So do URs4 rears fit my 100 c4?

Forgive the question, but is there such a thing as a 1991 100 C4? In North America the C4 wasn't debuted until 1992, and I'm quite certain that the 1991 100 I own is a Type 44 or C3 car, so I'm most curious... Did Audi release the C4 chassis a year earlier in Europe? . Very interesting..
If it's a C3 like mine, then I'm pretty sure that the rear seats are not interchangeable with the C4.. If it is a C4 then having owned a C4 S4 I highly recommend you seek out a good used set of seats from one of those.. They are truly worth it.. Either way, good luck in your search. |

Yes, you got it right - you guys there in US, at least in past, got Audis one year later than whole europe. C3 ended in 1990 and C4 started in 1991, B3 began with 1987. model year in september 1986 etc. I have to keep that in mind when using Mitchell On Demand schematics from one russian webpage, because these are US car schematics, so models changed year later and engine range also is noticeably smaller.

Might be a bit easier to find an A6 c4 breaking than it is a 100 c4 hopefully. |

I really want a c4 s4 one day, very nice car I think. But the s4 seats would do for now, if I can find some good ones. Here is my car if anyone is interested. I think the c4 is a bit forgotten in the uk, most people just think it's a boring old saloon I guess, but I like them. Last edited by Malbec; 17-12-13 at 10:43 AM. |
