It came over from Austria some 22 years ago and the owner sadly hard a heart attack and passed away. It then sat in storage until the current owner bought it 5 years ago and has had it sat in his front garden to be used as spares for his UR.

Fortunately it is still pretty much in one piece. Needs a new fuel pump though if anyone has got one for sale.

Due to a change in circumstances, I am going to be selling this car on.

I will also be selling the 90 as I need the space.

Now that would be an entertaining resto project!

Is it running?

Yes, it runs.

To make good:

Front windscreen
Clocks to put back in
New ignition barrel - starts using a screwdriver!
Passenger side window motor
Fuel pump
Reconnect master cylinder and pipe from pas pump
Headlining coming down
Two rear lights
Tyres obviously due to age
X2 dents in passenger doors

A very, very solid shell with just 74K miles and the quietest 20v engine I have ever heard.

It will not take a lot to get this back on the road.

Just to add a final chapter to this thread, the car is now sold and the re-commissioning commencing.
I never thought I would get my hands on a 200 20v, but some 25 years after a 100 TD auto , having gone through a coupe quattro, S8, A4 2.5 tdi, and a C5 RS6 Avant to name but a few I've kinda gone back to where it all started, and it's feeling good !
It's been a pleasure to make your acquaintance Steve, and there will be progress reports !

I was genuinely sad to see this car go. There was just something about it, notwithstanding the rarity and that 20V lump. It just had so much potential.

But in my mind I knew that I would never get on with the LHD and mainly because of this, I've reluctantly sold the car on. What makes me happy though is that the car has gone to a genuine enthusiast and I look forward to seeing it back on the road sometime soon.
