3 Network
Hello Peeps,
Am thinking of switching my mobile phone network to 3... their basic PAYG deal is very good. Anyone have experience of them? Coverage looks good on-line. |

I would suggest EE or O2, I'm currently with O2 sim only. they are both in the £10 pm region, you may find other networks that are cheaper but the coverage........

I'm on it now.
Not noticeably different to any of the others wrt coverage. You could be unlucky and have a network black spot at your home or work, but that's true of any. |

Depends who you are with really... I use Tesco mobile as the cost is low and the included data and phone call are high. Tesco use 02 for their network so good coverage in most areas. Well worth considering if you are looking for value for money.

I dumped O2 several years back for lack of coverage. I couldn't stand 3 when i last used their 'service', but that was quite a few years ago.
EE is now down to the same standard. I don't make many calls in the UK these days, and therefore the number of failed calls at the first attempt is disproportionately high. Some weeks, every call I make requires two or three attempts to get a line, even in a strong signal area. The areas that I most need to use the phone are near airports, which coincidentally is where I often have the most problems. My company phone is on Vodaphone. it's often easier to use my personal phone at work for the better network coverage, especially if the call is urgent, which generally is why I'm calling. Between the FO and myself, we frequently have 3 phones going, just to make one call.

That could be the UK constitution, boiled down to its basic essence!
