Steering wheel is on the wrong side Glenn .... For the over in flaited prices on early quadds that's a big devaluer . It needs a full hit and merely runs ( that means it starts ) and no mention of how it runs or anymore .... It's a case of reading between what isn't said, currently seller is a dealer whose been trying to offload a cat d rs4 avant that's hit reserve many times and been relisted again and again

Ok here goes.My opinion is this.
This cars value could be 14 to 17k.
Based on top value of 17k,that is in excellent condition with full history and unmodified in any way.(and that means every detail).A car like this needs to be absolutely standard and correct to achieve maximum price.
All of these would be deducted from the £17k.
Full re-paint 4k (+-£500)
Fit correct rear exhaust £600 (+-£50)
Re-commission (all belts,service,brakes etc etc)£1k
Full striping kit and rings fitted £400
Convert the car back to LHD £2k
fFit correct radio/cassette £100
Fit correct mats £100
And if you want to put the correct Ronals on with new tyres that will be covered by the cost of selling the Fuchs.
The subframes and wishbones will probably need attention also.
End figure after deductions just under £9k.However if you spend this on all of these things you will have a special, rare car.

did we not sorta expect to see this to be relisted again , i think its a lot of money for a project myself and i agree with JJ about early quads being over inflated in price , i love the colour of it though
