'93 80 Coupe 2.6 oil

This is really a basic question and I was in 2 minds whether to post it and await ridicule or not. In the end I thought I'd rather be laughed at and know the answer than remain ignorant!

Got a 1993 80 Coupe 2.6E with 160,000 miles on it. What oil should I be using? The reason I ask is I've read conflicting stuff. Some say 10w40 is the original spec. Then I read I should be using 15w40 because of the number of miles it's done?
