Default Repairing a ripped seat bolster?

I have an Audi 100 CS Sport 1988, the seat fabric is ripped and quite a large circular hole has appeared. How can I repair it and hopefully make it look as original as can be.

I dont think the fabric is avaliable anywhere, and i suppose the seat cover from the dealer is going to be ultra expensive.

The type of cloth is a light grey, thick threaded type, and the seat is a factory sports seat.

Thanks, Dav

I bought my 100CS off Micky off here and he had had a repair done to the bolster on the drivers seat whilst it was in his possession. He either used some spare material which was under the seat or in the centre arm rest on the rear seat. I'm sure he'll answer which one soon enough.

i took the piece out of the rear seat behind the arm rest and replaced that with grey leather no one will notice even with the arm rest down

There is also plenty of 'spare' cloth on the backs of the front seats. My coupe in it's original guise had both seat bolsters re - upholstered using the cloth from the back and then the backs were replaced in vinyl. No one ever sees the backs unless you are sitting in it!!
