Audi s2/80 estate sunroof mechanism

After one of these for my avant,need one in full working order if any one has one.

Part no for reference is 895 877 257

i think you are going to struggle getting the whole cassette. They are really hard to get hold of because they are Avant only cassettes. By any chance is the worm gear stuck and wont operate the roof? If so I stripped mine down, cut the ends off the metal guide tubes, freed up the worm gear and then re-piped the ends. I had no choice but to do this as I couldn't find a replacement! its a pain to do but if you have already gone to the trouble of removing it then its worth a shot.
