Yes been looking at that one for a bit, not my colour but I wish these would catch on, with folk, they really are great cars in my humble opinion, only downside is they lack the character of the 90's 5 pot warble but far more ecomnomical

1-1,5l/100 km difference isn't really "far".

umm, I'm 95 % sure that I know the previous owner !
It very comprehensively failed the MOT some months back - so much so that the owner bought a B5 QTS as a replacement !
It was a nice car, looks as if it is again but must have had money spent on it.

got to agree with you Dave, and with a bit of headwork/cam/ignition ecu work they will give the 5 pots a bit of a run for their money accelerating -- they weigh much less and the extra 5 pot has its weight hanging in front of the front axle line as well, so 4 pots actually handle better !

The green looks very nice if spotless and in sunlight, you know that great firey orb that occasionally appears up in the sky, they look great. The green out of sunlight , imho, just looks like a very dark colour, almost deep grey/black in shade.

Again - around 30 kilograms aren't much. Put the battery and big toolbox in the boot and there won't be any handling difference caused by weight, or get quattro which already has additional weight in the rear and you will get handling, which couldn't be rivaled by B3 FWD, thanks to 4 wheel independent suspension.
