A bit off track, but many many moons ago I worked for Hertz Rent A Car in Bristol. The first 'decent car' they ever put on fleet was the B2 Audi 80 Sport, I remember being in awe of this car. Later on we also had the B3 Audi 80 1.6, and 2.0E. More refined but less 'fun' after the sport. Unfortunately Hertz was owned by Ford and they soon put a stop to it as the Audis were making their Sierra look silly. Ah the memories.. I only wish I had taken pictures of them.

*Sits back in the rocking chair with cardigan, comfy slacks and sensible slippers and ponders the 'Good old days'.

yeah, you can't beat a nice cardy can you......and they really were good days weren't they, these youngsters just don't know........the joys of petrol for under five bob a gallon and so on....
