Wow how good does that look!

I bought a black sport grille for my Avant but it won't fit because of the bonnet release.

Having looked on a tyre size checker I reckon 225/50 could be the best bet on 7.5 inch rims. The radius difference is approx. 0.6%. Would these fit OK?

My 10-spokes are 7J x 15 so the new wheels are not much wider, but the cup style rim makes them appear wider.

Are 225 50 16 tyres the best size to fit?

Anyone else had 7.5x16s on a B4?

That will fit fine.

Stock ABY S2 (b4) wheels are 7.5x16 ET37 with 205/55/16. I ran 225/50 16 for more rubber (stock fit on 100s4 on the same wheels).

225 will bulge a little, 205 slightly flatter side walls if that matters to you.

Thanks for the info. Andy.

I collected the wheels last night and assuming they fit they will be off to be restored next week as they are currently gold.
I didn't check the centre bore so hopefully they are the same as they will really suit the car. The wheels are DBV Caribic Cups. Not sure where they are made.

I picked up a spare tyre for my 10 spokes in Bolsover the other night and the guy's neighbour had an identical Laser Red 2.6E Avant to mine, except it was matt pink.
