Default Engine swap?

Hi all
Just bought an 2000 S6 2.8 V6 4B2 engine 5 speed Quattro for £200, it needs a new clutch (and possible DMF) and tyres
I have sourced a new clutch and DMF at £670,
do I do up the S6? or
can I fit the engine, discs and anything else into my B2 Quattro
or do I break it and sell the bits

Sounds like an A6? C5 S6 should have a 4.2 V8.

I dont think C5 A6s are selling for much at the moment.

S6 of that era if I'm not mistaken were all auto boxes as well.

Just like my 59 plate the paperwork said A3, the badge was S3.
The paperwork says A6 2.7 V6 Quattro, the badge on the back is S6
It's a 5 speed manual box, so which way do I go?

2.7 twin turbo? If so it has good power potential, along with a few potential issues.

Stock turbo locations dont work well with 80/90 chassis legs from what I remember, it has been done, but not a common swap.

Pretty sure all the biturbo A6s are six speed? Maybe not but sounds interesting to say the least! Maybe someone already nicked the engine and stuck a 2.8 in. Was there a 2.8 30v around that time?

01E would make sense with a 2.7tt.

They came with 2.4, 2.8 and 3.0 30v V6s (as well as others engines).
