Default Audi Sport Mittlemotor

Here's a few interesting piccies of Audi Sport's response to the other manufactures mid-engined rally supercars.

This car was tested by Walter in Zlin, Checkoslovakia in 1985 and although it was kept top secret at the time, a few photos have surfaced over the years.

Thought you guys might like to see them.

I understand the car was ordered to be destroyed. Whether that happened or not?
I'd love to find out though!

was it not Audi's car for what was going to be Group B's sucessor - Group S? Then everyone got cold feet and we got Group A.

Yes, that's what I understand to be the case.

Anyone got other Group S photos - Audi or other? this could get very interesting.
