In case you forgot the "Crazy Frog" Video i posted a while back you liked.

No point in polishing the plastic if the font underneath is going!

They look great!

I recall tackling the same problem back in 1986 with my first car, a 1976 Capri (please don't attack me for mentioning a Ford on here!).

The rear lights looked like the previous owner had tried to remove the scratches with sandpaper! After thoroughly cleaning the lenses on the kitchen table, and getting a row from my Mum in the process, I applied a few coats of clear lacquer until the desired 'gloss' was achieved.

The lenses looked like new (meaning they were at odds with the rest of the car!) and the lacquer had flowed into the grooves of the scratches, effectively filling them in. I did the same with the blue oval a year later when a friend resprayed the whole car for me to match the light lenses!
