My money is on a choked Radiator.

I recently changed the Rad on my 2.8 C4 and was shocked at the difference in the weight.

Downside is it now takes an age before the Heater gets warm, about a mile of my 3 miles to work.

Radiator came New from an e-bay shop, £35.00 including postage, came next day.

Hi folks,

I still have the above car. There was little interest in it to be honest and my old man was happy keeping it at his in Scotland, running it etc.

I am looking to sell it as I am still in the same situation in Ireland where I can't import it and looks to be no work at home. Ideally I would like to come home and continue to run it as a rolling project.

Updates from the above listing is the hot issue in traffic was resolved with a new radiator. I have just put it through another test and needed very little for this, a track end and fuel lines replaced, and back breaks serviced. Mileage is around 210,000.

It is a great car and needs to be run more. There are niggles but hugely reliable for the age and mileage. It needs a service, will likely do this shortly and will do this before it goes.

I would be interested in a swap for something around the 1988 era or earlier, as I could run this in Ireland without paying stupid car tax. 90/Coupe/100/200 considered but needs to be Quattro and at least 5 pots! Happy to money towards a swap also.

Many thanks for looking and if there is any interest please shout.

Some pictures here. I will upload some new ones shortly. The wings and front bumper were replaced with mint ones after these were taken.

Hi folks,

Car is still for sale. I might start a new thread as the information in the header and in early posts is now very much out of date. Car is currently located in Inverness and can deliver.

Running well and needed little for the MOT. Have a look at the MOT history and you can see it passes well, work done before it is tested, few advisories. Cheers
