Default Ur Quattro Central Locking Actuator

Does anyone know the part number for the drivers o/s central locking switch/actuator for a 1987 Quattro Coupe? From what I can work out etka shows a vacuum solenoid but mine looks to be wired up for an electric switch, which is missing completely. Any info gratefully received...

From memory I thought the drivers side was manually operated and operated the vacuum pump via a switch to the passenger door...

Yes, that is correct.

By the sounds of it, Oliver, you're possibly looking at the remnants of an alarm remote activator.

Thanks for the replies, so it is also a servo system in the drivers door that the lock actuates? I don't seem to have any servo tubes in the drivers door at all so I'd better start chasing backwards...

Correct, the parts diagrams show lhd setup.

I recently replaced my nearside actuator and it is vacuum only, no electrics
813 862 161 A covers up to chassis 85-D-901 963
443 862 153 B for 85-D-901 964 onwards.

Being a C plate "G" chassis, the latter worked for me, often advertised as for a MK2 golf

Hope this helps
