Alcan 5000 in a URQ
We just completed the 2014 Alcan 5000 Rally in a 1982 URQ.
Car performed great, average 500 miles per day over 9 days - no support team - gravel roads from Seattle, Washington to Anchorage, Alaska via the Arctic Circle. 30th running of the event. 1st in Vintage class 2nd in Car Class 3rd overall (out of 43+ entrants) Minor cold starting problems and leaking seal on rear diff on day 8 and 9. Finished then drove home - 3700 miles in 4 days. Will post photos when get Coxy's contact - don't do photobucket. Classic Audi's can keep up with Subie's if you have a great navigator/co-driver Cheers |

Nicely done. I imagine the scenery should be quite stunning.
