Nice looking car

Ad. states that it's had an unleaded head conversion?? I assumed this engine would have an alloy head with steel valve seat inserts suitable for unleaded anyway?
Anyone.....?

no work needed on the head on these to run unleaded. It's just a timing change

Maybe the 2nd owner was an employee of the "London Private Bank" who first owned the car?...........and the garage saw fit to extort some money!!?

Looks a sound example & full respray (if done well) along with ownership history probably comes close to justifying the price, even with worn front seas.

Be interesting to see if it sells quickly.

It's a lovely thing for sure but i think it's going to sit for a while. For that money i would like to see a cleaner engine bay! There's a lot of very nice machinery, some of it with Quattro and 20V turbo for the same money.
