Any idea what’s happened over there? I can’t log in any more, it doesn’t recognise me and the format has all gone weird? Not bad for a moderator.

Have they put a "shilling in the meter"? The 7 Series forum that I joined occasionally goes "off-air" until the keyholder does the needful and puts out a request for a few bob towards the kitty.

I’d put it down to our flaky internet access currently, over here. Hopefully, and it doesn’t sound like it fortunately, not a casualty of the Facebook era.

Well, it’s back up, but it won’t let me log in with my correct username and password.

I requested a new password ... "Hint: The password should be at least twelve characters long. To make it stronger, use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols like ! " ? $ % ^ & )."

That made me think of this ...

Quote:
During a recent password audit by a company, it was found that an employee was using the following password: “Mickey Minnie Pluto Huey Louie Dewey Donald Goofy Sacramento" When asked why she had such a long password the blonde employee rolled her eyes and said: "HELLO! It has to be at least eight characters and include at least one capital."

[quote all above] it’s a particularly effective method of keeping the riffraff away when even the long term members and moderators can’t access it….
