Coupe GT retrim
Hi everyone
I'm thinking ahead to when my Coupe GT is on the road hopefully next year, and getting the interior retrimmed. The seat fabric has been replaced at some point and I'd like to get it back to the original with fabric from Audi Tradition. I know they're not delivering to the UK at present but may have an option of getting it delivered in Germany and forwarded on. My question is, does anyone know how much of each fabric is needed for a full retrim please? I know the "Karo Tweed" checked fabric goes on in the seat squab and backrest centre parts, and the door cards, and the "Uni" plainer fabric goes on the headrests and seats bolsters, surrounds, backs etc. My interior currently: What it should look like (not moving the steering wheel though!) Cheers for any help! Last edited by 84CoupeGT; 15-11-21 at 11:31 AM. |

I retrimmed my 90 quattro B3 door cards and I needed one piece of material to do all 4. It was a bit tight and only just made it.
the roll was 142cm wide by 50cm Is it different material for the bolsters and rear covers ?

As far as I know I should just need the 2 types of material I mentioned for front and rear seats plus door cards. Here's what the rear seats should look like in mine (although mine are blue "azure", not grey). As a guess, I reckon I'll need 3 of the check fabric and 4 of the plain to do the whole interior, but I will speak to a trimmer beforehand and do some measuring before ordering.
