Cheers Bruce....here's some more history for you and probably the reason why i started the comedy sketch thread apart from the fact i remember his brilliant slap stick humor. Out of that shop my dad used to sell to Dick Emery. Dick emery's son used to spend a huge amount of time in dads shop.

Default Errol Brown of Hot Chocolate

Following the announcement of the death of Hot Chocolates lead singer Errol Brown in The Bahamas earlier today at the age of 71 from liver cancer I thought I would post some HC tracks as my small tribute to a guy whos band have given me lots of musical pleasure over the years

I totally agree with the above sentiments. We all grew up listening to him over the airwaves or Top of the Pops. The 1970's wouldn't have been the same without him. This track is from 1982 a special year! RIP Errol.

Heard a snippet of this on the Simpsons a few weeks ago, a great track from a band I'd almost forgotten about:

Three lesser known tracks from The Who:

The last track features Leslie West from the band Mountain who gave us this:

Some of us might remember the middle section being used as the theme tune on 'Weekend World' in the 1980s:

Sometimes confused with the World in Action theme:
