Its going to be an up hill struggle for all of us from now on due to tin worm on these cars.

I think you're​ right there.
Fortunately mine seems pretty sound, it was rebuilt in 2011 from a bare(ish) shell with lots of metalwork done at that time judging by the build receipt.

I think my rust has been caused by the car being lowered (before I bought it & put it right) and being on 225's - probably rubbed the inside of the lip.

I have a set in the garage but they have been there for 5 / 6 years and may not be any use now due to age, the strip kits are on Ebay as are the door rings, just more money to spend at this time of year.
