Default What other retro items do you own?

do you own any other things that are as old as your classic audi or older?

i was thinking about this as i had my one millionth shave with my 1985 remington microscreen . . you can still get the spare foils and cutters and the old brick still works like it did when it was new.

thanks victor!

I have a 1990 Honda CBR 600 but more impressively (to me anyway) I still use my Panasonic digital clock radio that I purchased in 1988. In some respects it looks like your UR's dash board.

I'm still using a:

Technics amp/tuner/CD player that I bought in 1987 ( the CD player in a Pure DAB radio lasted 15 months - with little chance of repair ) used most days

an Audi 80 Sport !

A Kenwood chef mixer ( approx. 1970 ish ) used several times a week
Prestige pressure cooker ( similar age) ditto

Sony radio ( small portable - inherited from mother in law - approx. mid 1980s used every day

Neff double electric oven 1982 ( just replaced the oven element for the second time - it still worked but turned off the RCD over about 170C) used most days

Neff gas hob 1982 used every day
Panasonic microwave 1984 - it still works fine -- but the actual time of day clock has just stopped working... used most days
a retro wife still I'm a bit retro as well

wife has a 1978 Mullet bicycle - now only used during winter months, approx. 90k miles on it she originally raced on until it was replaced in 1986 used 3/4/5 times a week in winter by a Gazelle, that she still rides during the summer ( must be well over 100k miles on that by now ) used most days late March end Oct but of course various items have had to be replaced over the years - my bikes are much newer !!

Most other things we have are newer except for a lot of the tools etc we have.

We also have a load of mainly late 1930s 78 rpm records that we do not want and cannot find a good home for - inherited from mum-in-law.
