Default B5 Passat TDI (110) south west

Hello all!

I'm after a cheap daily for work - a B5 Passat TDI (preferably the 110hp engine). Not too concerned if it's higher mileage (as long as it's not mega miles)!

So if anyone knows of a decent one in the south west (BUT I'M WILLING TO TRAVEL) for under the £1,000 mark then please let me know!

my 80 TDI, just needs a heater matrix (£40 and a few hours of taking dash out from the inside - about 4 is the concensus) and you can have it for £300. You can even do the matrix on my drive if you want?

I really don't want to break it.

Spending the last three days with a bad back scrolling through ads on the internet pays off in the end...I hope! Pick it up at the weekend. It seems to have every interior comfort available (including cruise control!).

Turned out the car was shite, the seller a crook! I'm still on the hunt for a Passat, Golf, Bore or Polo TDI so if anyone has a decent one for sale then please let me know. As stated before I'm willing to travel. I would prefer to buy one from a reliable forum member rather than some complete twat on eBay!

Hopefully someone out there has one for sale...

Hi Dan

Thanks for the offer (Coxy being first refusal) but it's out of my budget unfortunately as I have bought the S6 so can only afford a cheap daily! If I had more cash then I would definitely be interested.

Thanks anyway
