Default Audi 80 Accelerator Pedal?

i have just noticed that the accelerator pedal is not as it should be!!

any idea what's missing and do any of you have one for sale?

i'm told that the petrol and diesel models have different pedals -
mine is a diesel model.

Its just the rubber thats missing I think, mine was like that too, kept falling off, I ended up sticking it back on with grip fill! have a look on ebay

Yes your pedal is different to the petrol versions and the Audi 80 1.6 td

As far as i can remember, (same thing on the tdi i owned) you have to replace the whole linkage, the end can't be replaced. Or so i was told when i inquired about mine, the price i was givin i just put up with it lol.....

Mine has been taped on with Harry black maskers.

Mine also had a problem in that I had to adjust the threaded portion onto the throttle potentiometer. Read my thread later when I post up a link.......

It's not a rubber that's missing, there is no rubber on it, it is the whole plastic pedal thats gone. It's broken off Where the three white sections are across the middle and that's what you are left with sadly. The pedal is shaped to fit under a good length of you shoe, kind of rectangular and is pivoted so it changes angles under your foot when you press it. Don't worry, its a weak point where they pivot and after a few miles under it's belt they ALL break off at some point in their lives!!!...secondhand pedal required if you want it as factory or do what i did on my S2 and buy a Race style plate one, a la halfords, paint it black and rivet it through what's left, sorted.

but when all's said and done it's under your foot anyway
and you can't see it when driving!! lol
