Ah, in that case that's eased the pain of having to pass it by. Thanks for the tip. Yeah I guess when cars are this age you really really need to tread carefully.

Did look nice in the pics - but thats rarely the full story.

Had 2 years back, a 1973 1600 GT Beetle in Tomato Red and a 1975 1303 "Super Beetle" in Marino Yellow liked both, especially the 1303. Not a patch on the air cooled NSU's I also had at the time though. The NSU 1000 could match the 1600 GT Beetle and the 1200TT would just just disappear into the distance
