Just to give it the other side of Coxy's thread . . these ones were part of my growing up spent in wonderment in a friend's Dad's attic and trying to figure what these strange electronic, synthesized sounds were and what these even stranger "grown up" lyrics meant . . .

christ, you've no idea how close to the mark you actually are!! my bedroom was in the attic and was littered with copies of mayfair and club international!!

into oblivion for most of my teens years! at least i had a set of stairs leading up there so had time to "act normal" if one of the oldies came up the stairs to and started knocking on my door!

I had a creaky aluminium ladder so i could hang like a bat when i came home pissed and missed a rung
