lol... The thread drift suggests the storm turned out to be a damp fart... Orange sky over paranoid England and some plastic furniture rearranged in the Republic... Hopefully it'll be a blustery kilt event in Bonny and away to annoy the Swedes...

Well not so damp fart here on the Irish sea, all the local razor boats smashed each other last night, a lot of damage in the harbour but our little 200 year old shack, two foot thick walls, didn't even lose a slate, result! Just like my type 44s, ugly but tough as sh*t!

Shit, forgot there was a climate change denier on here.

It was down to 850Mb at one point when only a couple of hours from Ireland, shifting along at over 35mph, better safe than sorry to keep an eye on it. I'm sure the people that died aren't joking about it. Having said that once it got here it was very much like any normal winter storm you get in these parts. Suppose everything's relative, up in the Hebrides it would have been classed as a strong breeze.
