I wish I had time to be bored!
First decent dry spell since last September so been harrowing and rolling the fields, coppicing timber, fixing fences and stocking up the log store. Just finished mowing Mum's lawns and serviced her mower. Haven't touched the Ur for over a week

Brilliant stuff David, good man. Hopefully you good folk are being left alone by them there city slickers.... The Sussex beaches were filling up with Kite Surf dudes yesterday so we abandoned our usual dog/kids exercising on the beach for our local South Downs National Park which is literally 200yds from our front door... Only to walk through the alley and be met by a car park full of ramblers, joggers and Lycra clad mountain biking types all snorting and spittling as they warmed up. Dog got a road walk instead bless her. Not taken her out today because we know what we are going to find.

Did similar yesterday, hardly anyone about, stayed well out in the sticks just admiring the views and chasing my cap across a field as a gust detached it and sent it way off. Joy.

Still, its only going to last another 6 months theyre saying.
By that time many will be sitting in a corner drooling and occasionally saying "wibble".
Suicide rate might go up but fully expect a rise in the birthrate too...
