Just going by what i have been told on various other forums, lossing power on wot.
its fine up untill wot tho, so its fine for now, i can live with it for the time being!
Have replaced nearly everything around it, new filters, plugs, leads, the dizzy etc is only 2000 miles old, there are no leaks in the rubber boot conecting airbox to throttle body....... so i'm at a loss as to what else it could be
Dont matter tho, its not needed for EFI!
Thank you tho!

Did look into that too, weighing up the pro's and con's i decided i wanted a multipoint system, and was quite prepared to go the megasquirt route for it, so really not a great pile of difference to go the whole hog!

I was thinking the same... What is the reason you think you can't LPG your car? You can sort the switching control with a straight forward relay which turns off the fuel pump and the gas solenoids on and vice versa.

You might have some crap in the fuel pipe.

Costs nothing to release pipe at both ends and blow through.

Had i used a mixer style kit, which are prone to backfire, that makes a very nice mess of your metering head etc.... (did not want to damage that ) but as its seemingly faulty now....

Multipoint systems are now all piggy back ecu's needing injector pulses from a petrol ecu or similar.... (K-jet doesnt do this its continuous) ...

There where a few systems with standalone ecu's but very old now, and hard to get parts for ( such as early tartarini etagas) so after looking for some months for a second hand system gave up on that idea......

That is how i have got to here (after phoning and or emailing just about every lpg place i could find on google)

Everyone saying no can't be done bar one guy that said it can, but its gonna be exspensive and i would need to either EFI the car or get a standalone ecu to run the lpg ecu ...

Nightmare, but i'm actually itching to get started in this challenge lol :P

My VW T25 has a 2.3 10V with Motronic Efi and the VW T4 2.5 petrol 10v has Motronic Efi, surely the fuel rail, ECU etc could be used from one?

Cheers Andy e

Yes i would imagine so, the problem is there are nothing but diesel varients here, finding a petrol one is proving unlikely! Had looked at that option first as i am inclined to keep as much as possible VAG!
Moor likely to find the volvo setup, but both of those options still lead back to the same problem, the price of getting them custom remapped to suit my car?
