Ronal 8j x 4
Well, some bad news, my friend had 7 ur ronals in his father's loft and a few 215 tyres, and he was going to sort them out and get me a set of wheels.
He showed up with his A6 estate to collect them, to be told that his father threw them all away. So, while I am still considering Lemso or Calibre wheels, if anyone has some ur ronal 8j wheels (1-4) that are straight (i don't mind needing a refurb, but no buckled wheels please) please let me know and lets see if i can give you some £. I am in West London if it matters for postage... |

There's a nice set of geniune BBS RS wheels on ebay at the moment in the correct fitment for a Ur these were an option in the UK back in the 80/90s, I recall they were around £300 each so at £1200 they are the same price as when new at the time so in reality a bargain now.
link- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-S...QAAOSwGelcYOu7 Or alternatively I have a set of Compomotive 3 piece wheels in the same design (basically compomotives version of the BBS wheel) with same offset of et24 (might be et20 can't remember exactly but original Ur 8J size) which I bought new back in 1991 cost me around £600 for the set they are fitted with (old) 225/50 fulda tyres. I had these on my UR for around 6 months before I stored them in my parents loft after I got a set of the original Ur 8J rims (my 82 Ur was fitted with 6J rims when I purchased) I'd be looking for £600 + delivery and I can get pictures for you later this week if interested. Just a note to say I'm still looking for 8j Ronals. 1,2,3,4 or 5-
Perfect or needing a refurb is fine, just not wobbly or cracked please. Thanks! |
