audi gt 1984 / question
hi all ,,ive just bought a 1984 audi gt , 2ltr five cylinder to restore ,been parked up 10years . question I have is the whole interior is shot including the complete dash unit which has many cracks due to sunlight . luckly I have a complete spare interior from a coupe Quattro but from a 1987 car so it has the later dash with the later switches . I am pretty sure the complete dash board will bolt straight in , my question is [before I start] will the later switches on the 1987 dash connect to the older style plugs 1984

I'm sure others might give you a definite answer, but I brought a wiring loom for my electric mirrors for my 85' cq. I later found out that the loom came from the early type GT - as none of the plugs matched. I reckon it would be the same for everything else.
