Default Ur quattro H&R Springs Wheel Alignment Spec

Hi, just had a set of H&R lowering springs fitted to my '88 MB quattro and am struggling to get someone to be able to do my wheel alignment and tracking...

Would anyone be able to tell me the Wheel Alignment Spec for these please as factory spec wouldn't be true?

I am near Sheffield / Chesterfield if anyone can advise where to take it?

Cheers

Challenger Tyres in Sheff should be able to do it.

I used their branch in Barnsley to set mine up, drives arrow straight.

Thanks. Do they do it to the 'factory specifications' or align it all as it is? One company I phoned in Sheffield claim they have to have a spec to work from....

I used this site posted by another member. You need a center that has the Hunter 4 wheel alignment.

Any chance of some before and after pics? I think my MB sits a bit high and Keith at Dialynx suggested some H&Rs, but I don't want it to look 'slammed' or whatever the expression is.

Hi Adrian

This is how my WR looked before I removed the lowering H&R's and sold them on a certain auction site.

Wonder who could have bought them????????

Hope this helps you decide, I prefer the standard ride height and more forgiving ride quality. Found it too hard on the H&R's.

Thanks - just the info I needed! I guess with 225 section tyres fitted even less of a good idea...

Yes that's another consideration as I also have 225's on.
I have some bubbling on the right rear arch which I suspect has been caused by rubbing in the past.

Previous owner had also had to fit some custom made spacers on the rear as it sat too low in comparison to the front and hence my conclusions about the cause if the rusting.

I thought it better to just replace the lot back to standard and haven't regretted it.

Hi urquattr085 - would I be the new owner of your H&Rs then???

Can I ask what shocks you had/have with them please?

Cheers
