Silverstone Social Sunday 19th March
Following the success of our tester meet last year I've developed a buzzing Facebook page and including interest both on and off the page over 500 members now.
We will be running meets throughout the year, probably 5 in total. The first of which is below. It was originally started out to be a Classic Audi meet but after realising we were going to get no more than a handful of Cars that way I decided to make it a general meet. Very keen to keep a strong Classic Audi attendance so please come along. |

Thanks Jake, its all gone amazingly well since it started really. Infact I am now not really doing my day job, I'm working on that constantly!! First real problem came yesterday when I planed the meet and no one (including me) twigged it was Mothers day on that particular day. As you can imagine a meeting in a Pub Car Park on Mothers day was going to end up some what of a car parking clash!! I've had to pull all the adverts and start over again with a new date which has been a right pain! Still lesson learnt there and will investigate dates more thoroughly before posting from now on.

Nice. Hopefully the 80 will be back on tarmac and I can make it up. 👍

I'll be up for a Silverstone meet, very local to me and it'd be good to get the S6 out

Brilliant, so pleased to get some Classic Audi interest. As I say the initial idea was to make it a Classic Audi meet so its great to keep the Audi following. We've got two UR Quattro's going, my Coupe, Daniel Kraszlan's Cab, Tomek's Cab (subject to his work) and Jogi's B2 80 Quattro and then hopefully add Natt and yourself to that as well. Its going to be a good one.
I'm trying to get hold of JohnB on here as he lives a few miles up the road from the meeting point and came to the last one in his B2 Coupe, if I can get hold of him I am sure he will come as well. Last edited by Crossle; 16-01-17 at 03:31 PM. |
