Blimey, I wonder if that's still out there....

I have to say, the Sport quattro production list always makes me laugh, the manipulation of chassis numbers/scrapped/depot/motorsport build cars was very, very fishy and a bit of 'smoke and mirrors' for homologation.

Does anyone have a more up to date list as I am sure a few more has been broken/crashed and stolen.

I've no idea where it is now, but I do know it was a design study by (ISTR) Cologne (Koln) University in the late 1980's, so it was not an original colour... I have a couple of pictures of it 'somewhere!'....

I never knew that about the colour. I used to go to Daventry often enough but never took much notice of it.

Bloomin' thing... We first met it at that great big quattro meet at Sooties old shindig site out the back of Davantry where it turned out onto a lane.. Never forget them unleashing an S1, that took 10 minutes to start, and 10 to warm up, then, on a nice set of happy road legal 12" slicks left about 75 yards of rubber up the lane... Awesome, was an understatement.

Also had a Dakar truck thingy there, which just collapsed everyones internal diaphragm when running... Seriously, you felt it, rather than heard it....

I'll dig the photos out one day....
