Thinking of selling the Audi to you......

Got my friend Claire from Oxford down.

Hope to take the 1150GS down to Canterbury to see Adam ("Moomin") from Retro-Rides, to go pick out 4 or 5 decent mini hubcaps for the Steel rims I have for the Audi.
Though I still dream of finding a set of those mini Chrome ones originaly fitted to some cars.

BBQ in Tilbury with some South Africans after 4pm, and maybe ride my mates 1200 HP2 before I have a drink.

Sunday no concrete plans, but I am sure something will shape up, also have to take the new Harry Pothead book to Claires 19year old son in Dartford.

Beyond that, I would like to wash Coxy's car, and get a bit of polish over it's RAGGEDY ASS

There is an 80 2.2 GT Coupe for sale @ £350.... no idea what it is like, but had a Passat with the 5pot 2.2 years ago, had dome in excess of 160k miles, and still pulled like a steam train.

I like this one a lot, but no MOT,TAX and typical family crisis story, scares me, but I do like the look of it.

Gotta love that 5 pot grrrrrrropwl. It's a fantastic engine and if well maintained will go one forever so to speak. It's a good choice to make and the GT Coupes are totally underrated and undervalued compared to it's Quattro Turbo Big Brother. I say grab them whilst they are cheap and devoid of scene tax. £350 won't get you hardly anything in todays climate.
Some people pay more for a handbag!!!
