Default Ode to a good friend and colleague . .

I'm not sure if this is the right place to do it but i lost a good friend today, aged 41.

he was a real toff, a gent, an intellectual, a genius, the kind of guy who would go the extra 20 miles for anyone, the owner of an s4 avant, a chancer, a gambler, an animal lover, the most laid back guy you could imagine, a wine connoiseur, a social butterfly and the word "colleague" does him no justice at all . .

this is a small town we live in and it will be the biggest funeral ever seen here . . .he knew everyone and everyone loved him. i'll miss him even if it's just for him coming in late for his shift and telling me that "the dog ran away" for the millionth time and for contradicting me every time i open my mouth..

you big bugger, why did you leave us to this shitty job all by ourselves??

god rest you, big chap . . and you better not be looking down on me and laughing when i'm in the shower!!!

well, he did love his audis, even if they were modern ones! i can say hand on heart that i thought that i was going to die happy when he took me for a blast in that red rocket of his when he bought it.

there would have been two grinning corpses embedded in the stone wall to greet our back shift when they got there!!

Sorry that you've lost a good friend Craig.

41 is no age really, so sad.

My condolences go out to yourself and his family & friends.

I'm sure he'll not be forgotten.
