Ronal R8 6x14 4x100 rare deep alloys
Some new pics added after a clean and the centre caps putting on.
I've got a set of 4 extremely rare deep dish 4x100 R8 alloys for sale in 6x14 ET35 rim size. There are 2 new 185/60 H 14 Continental tyres fitted and the other 2 are used something or others at 4mm. The pics show with the 2 previous tyres that have been replaced with the Conti's. There are the little silver 'Ronal' centre caps included as well. Originally an option on European market 80 GTE's. Will fit 80 and Coupe to 1984 before the change to 4x108 pcd, along with Golf Mk1, 2 and Polo models before they went to 5 stud. £250 - collection only from Birmingham. Are these still available? I am thinking they would look good on my B1 80GL
Would you be coming to ADI at C/Combe next week by any chance? |

Hi Steve, still available at the mo. They're the wheels that were optional on 80GTE, so suit the 81 / 85 cars well without going big on rim width or diameter, and use the same size tyres an 80 sport would have had.
Not doing Castle Coombe this year - the Coupe is up for sale on ebay and the 90q sold a fortnight ago. We could always meet halfway on the M5? |

The B1 80GL I have is a '75 year car which has 13" as standard. I have the 80GT wheels on it that are 5J x 13 ET 45 and 100 PCD so I guess the 35 ET of your wheels will mean they are 10mm nearer to the outer arch lip? Seems to be plenty of room there so should fit ok.
How long ago were the new tyres fitted, and are the other two a matched pair? |
