Does anyone know the best way of swopping my steering wheel with Airbag to another the same but in better condition. My car is a 96 Audi Coupe.

while we're adding tips here's mine....
Make sure your indicator stalk is in the "off" position. If its self cancelling and if left in the turn-left or turn-right position and then you refit the wheel- it'll snap off the little plastic lug that makes this feature work.
ps if you do do this (and I did once, despite a lot of prior warnings ) then the whole stalk thingy is not that expensive, less than £20, and they were available from Audi, or they were, just over a year ago.

Thanks for all the help guys. For what its worth mine was 24mm also, which wasn't so great at first when I found out my socket set only went up to 22mm! Wasn't much of an issue as I have both a screwfix and a GSF both less than 2 miles away

How is the airbag steering wheel removed from a B4 Audi 80?

I note there are two holes on the rear of the steering wheel & assume an allen key or torx is required... but I don't know for sure. I've tried both but without any success.

I'd prefer a non-airbag wheel to be honest, but its more for realignment of the current wheel & renewal of the lower steering column shroud as mine is holed from a previous immobilser fitting or similar.

very very carefully.

If it goes off in your face, it will break your neck if you are leaning against it.

Can you post a photo?

Of me breaking my neck??

Picture the boring looking airbag steering wheel in an Audi 80 & thats what it looks like. The two small holes to the rear of the wheel are just that, and it's impossible to see what tool is employed to fit in them... if any...
