Default Converting 4 stud typ89 to 5 x 112

I want to convert my typ89 4 x 108 front hubs to 5 x 112.

Is this an easy job? or is the 5 stud hub something obscure?

I have a hub from an Audi 100, anyone know if they fit?

I've just remembered I've got early one piece b3 struts waiting to go on my 90

Are yours the one piece or later 2 piece?

Well, B3 is both Typ89 and Typ8A - in case of a suspension it could be even split in three submodels, because first year of Typ89 +/- identical to Typ85, while afterwards there are difference - I guess they changed outer CV joints from ones with nut to ones with bolt.

As for that B2q thread from motorgeek, derracuda was saying he used ordinary front struts, not 20v ones.

As for 5 stud conversations, it is known that in rear of quattro car should be used A4 hubs and brake discs, for front I've read about turning C4 hubs so that they will fit B4 discs and drilling missing holes in 4 stud G60 discs [because S2 discs are rare and expensive]. When that time will come for me, I'll try what happens when A4 front hub and disc is fitted - all I need is alignment with my G60's and if that disc will happen to be slightly too big [12 mm bigger, at least on paper], I would rather prefer turning stock A4 discs to make them smaller to drilling four holes in existing discs

I guess FWD rear should be similar to quattro rear, but so far it seems that none has bothered to do that to FWD

Just looked at prices for S2 discs.. ouch!

Even the 4 stud version used on the V6 is expensive.

The Sharan TDI disk I'm thinking of using could be interesting to S2 owners as its pretty much identical only 12mm bigger in diameter..
