Came across this post a few days ago, and have no old stereos, but as chance would have it,
was up at a friends today and just had to help him with his 1971 two door classic Range Rover bleeding the clutch, so in the drivers seat, foot on the left peddle waiting for orders to press and hold and lift, looked down and above my right knee was a stereo, so out with the phone and was clicking away a few shot when the voice from the passengers side open window "what the feck are you doing", so I explained about this post, he leans in the open passenger window opens the glove box and produces the owners manual and that got photographed as well, see below.
