It's the electric one. Includes a new mast which is £30ish, so really £170. Includes delivery too.

Sounds reasonable if delivery included. These were never cheap when new and although could really do with a spare for mine, my funds are needed elswhere at the moment, like getting uprated main radiator from Radtec for £380

As I said, I'd be prepared to entertain "swaps" on this if funds are an issue.....

I have a number of these, and also a certain amount of spares for them. I also have 2 new ones, but the fixed masts are incorrect, and need to be swapped for the type 85 version.

I take it this is an original rare item, to command such a high price. ???

Excuse my ignorance, but I still don't understand why it cost so much?

personally , wouldn't you lot rather spend £40 quid on a regular electric aerial? and spend the other £160 on something else?

Clearly i'm missing something.

Its simply the price that is paid for originality. The less of something that exists and the more people want it, the more expensive it becomes.

I was throwing away Mk2 Escort grills with the FORD letters on them 25 years ago, £100 each now for a good one.

you are yes, it was unique to the car, the aerial is amplified and the mast is quite short, approx 2 foot....they are quite hard to find working if at all.
James has , as i have in the past had to make a good one out of his stock.
it is an item on a Ur that instantly looks wrong if missing or broken, anal but true and whenever i have looked at a car to buy its on the checklist to see if its present and correct!
