Don't fancy driving 250 miles to AITP with the sun roof and windows open
Its the valve in the engine bay which is connected to the hot air / cold air lever. Its located at the back of the engine near the bulkhead, the cable may need a very small adjustment to go back to cold, its a fine line between hot and cold - there are topics on here on it somewhere.

Had the same problem on my CQ in the past, usually only happens in the summer.

Its not a fuse is far more agricultural than that.

Ice buckets in the foot wells!
On a serious note, don't know if B2 CQ has same set up as my B4 80, but being quite familiar with heater blowing only cold (6yrs of scraping inside as well as outside, and going to work with hot water bottle!), you could maybe try the coolant housing thermostat, also saw something else in another thread about a ?relay switch? behind the heater control panel...other than that, dunno mate, sorry.

Just had a look under the bonnet, the hot water control valve moves but I think the internal flap valve obviously isn't working, so this weekend the valve will be removed and the heater hose blanked off with a wine cork (need to empty the bottle first) sorted for now

Default Aitp7

Hi All. Finally got confirmation of time off so purchased my ticket today. Hope to meet some of you there on the Saturday evening. As far as I know there is no map of AITP7 available but the Marshalls are very good at directing people to the Club stands. I will be bringing a Gazebo which we can put up on the stand area so feel free to bring along camping chairs etc. I believe Dave Small (Davallew) has a Classic Audi sign which he will hopefully bring along.
