Default spring advice

I have recently noticed that I am running odd springs on the front of my car (B3 90 20v quattro sport). I have checked with Audi and they are NLA. Can anyone recommend replacement springs and offer advice whether it's worth dropping the car a tad more.
You can see in this picture it's sitting high on the drivers side

but the passenger side is not as bad

Any advice welcome

A hacksaw you could do with checking the strut is the correct one, the part no's are stamped on the bracket where it bolts onto the hub assembly, failing that, check both sides tube diameters are the same as the 20v/V6 strut tubes are larger.

Kit wise, I was looking at the Spax VSX for my 80 using 20v struts: http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap.../sx-v7846.html

I do hope that was a tongue in cheek comment about the hacksaw young Ben?

Anyways there's plenty of aftermarket options to suit your needs I would imagine, just shop around a bit. Didnt you ever notice it was steering oddly or you were getting uneven tyre wear? That's quite a marked difference in spring heights

You can still get the air-con springs - that's what I fitted to mine

Yes Eltee said they were still available, is there much difference in the ride height?

Not really - probably 10-15mm. It was initially higher by about 20mm but it dropped after settling.

I may have a pic somewhere of the car as it is now
