Fund raising will be; Power boat trips The Audi Run Raffle tickets The catering company will donate their 'pitch money' The day is free but it would be great for everyone to get involved in the fund raising and choose how much or little to donate. Also a reminder that we are looking for additional raffle prises, the more we get the more folk will win. |

that was the best show i've been to in a longggg time and easily the best north of the border in my opinion - not bad for a first effort, eddy!
we had closed roads thanks to the MOD where almost 30 quattro equipped cars set off around the hills above the clyde estuary - absolutely fantastic fun oh and an S1 rally car in the marquee . . .i hope that one of you lot are going to post some photos up for you lot to what the rest of you missed!! thanks to eddy for really pulling the stops out and to everyone else concerned - it couldn't have been better..

Top job
Eddy did a damned fine job- I'm only disappointed that circumstances didn't allow me to have the ur there, and I couldn't partake of the evening soirée! Next time.

What a day folk !
Thank you all for you support for this, we raised £736 for the Beatson Hospital For those of you that couldn't hang around, the S1 did a little 'rally' round the marina for us before it was loaded back on the truck I was totally stunned to bag a lift in it, and with the chap doing a proper rally start I was giggiling like a wee boy who was just told Santa had a spare seat on his sledge , bloomin brilliant !!! The 'run' went without a hitch, and something I will never forget was a blue RS4 passing me and the coppers at 120mph, he then said to me, ' Am I supposed to turn a blind eye to that ' my reply was, ' yer, what time did you start your shift this morning sir' Last edited by Eddy; 01-09-15 at 09:28 AM. |
