Data protection! What a load of borrox- thoughts?
Don't you just bloody hate it when you get into a thread, and some muppet goes off on some random tangent? Thread drift! There should be a special department to eradicate it.
There must be some guidance on how many posts are needed, before a thread deviates from the original topic.

Other fora I visit allow very minor thread drift until OP is happy about answer, then it's open game from there.. Some rather usefull info usually pops up later - on a different topic |

Are you really that interested in hire cars Mr H? Didn't you once write about a bog-basic, modern hire car you had in.. Canada? And you thought it did the job not bad? I can make it easy for you. Forums - they don't make'm like they used to. Signing out. |

But all the time, wishing I had an 80s or 90s Quattro model instead.
Oddly enough, that hire car was a VW.

I can't understand how the first thread (The Real MSH) starts of with "Don't you just bloody hate it when you get into a thread, and some muppet goes off on some random tangent? Thread drift! There should be a special department to eradicate it.
There must be some guidance on how many posts are needed, before a thread deviates from the original topic." That was a comment about thread drift BEFORE the thread drift by the originator ! Then six replies later comes back with a thread drift about hire cars
