does anybody know about re-dying carpets? i know you have to go darker but what are the best most lasting products to use

the guy on here who did the black mk1 80 on the on the calendar thread used a kind of spray paint i think. look up his build thread.. trev (??)

It's also known as Vinyl Dye.
