Glad you got what you wanted Sawwas ; "Willbo" doesn't appear in the members list as far as I could see so wasn't able to access "that" album and now the pictures on your ad just show sold .End of story.

I'm sure the new owner will post some pics up in due course to satisfy my curiosity.

Worked perfectly ! Reminds me very much of the work required on the 80 Sport I got earlier this year. That needed a complete rear end replaced, as well as substantial welding around front wing areas, and inner wings , plus bottom of windscreen. I gave up in the end as it was just too much of a money pit, but it is still being worked on by its new owner .

Good Luck with the continued restoration.

BTW Fly Frank, I dont recall saying i got what i wanted for the car! the car has been sold well below what it stands me, and also below what an other forum 80q owner has stated as the " price is spot on " but then it's the like's off these very experienced 80q owners that know that true value off these "BEASTS" !! Maybe you should look at buying one yourself. No Pressure !!!

I'm sure an 80Q is very nice, but I'm quite happy with my CQ all the same.
