I'm telling you Bruce,you lived in fear what with a mortgage round you neck. An old supervisor, talking early nineties who was a year older than me but had the silver tongue once accused me of an offence at 6.45 in the morning as i opened the light lock into the dark and went into the office to clock in. I just had to accept his word as i was still half asleep, plus there were others standing about. When i got to my machine i got thinking and it all became clear.He was wrong and boy did i hit the fan. I went straight outside to the line manager ( big cheese ) and complained. It wasn't that long later that Brian Dunleavy came to my machine room and apologised in a smirky sort of way. I told him, don't you ever do that again in front of others. He died spring this year way to young!

I know what you mean Bruce. Actually he wasn't such a bad lad, think he learned his lesson as he was always a polite fellow to me after that incident.
