I roped a flying colleague in, as there was a promise of Guinness and other lubrication, later. We proudly joined the Boston fire department for the parade. The very nice chap with the stuffing great drum hanging from his shoulders decided to unstrap his drum to rest his back. As he squatted down, a scene reminiscent of Carry on up the Khyber was presented... And several of his colleagues in the procession behind shouted... "...there's women and children watching, for gods sake" ...as his kilt failed to hide the two somewhat heroicly proportioned gonads that were now protruding from below the hem line...
