The other option would be to borrow someone's wet dog to add some texture to the ambience.

Ah, we did, as we were non-smokers from the start.... But, picking up from Marks ramblings, it has had a Wet dog in it quite a few times since; and indeed the dog mooched around in it this afternoon.... If only to bite the kids arses to get them out.
